1 PRAYER:

James 1: Verse 5 “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”

Prayer: In June of 1991 I knelt in prayer and asked God, in the name of Jesus Christ, to give me an understanding of how the universe works, or, to allow me to be at peace with my lack of understanding. I was spending far too much time working on this problem and running into a mental block, so, I decided to pray about it. I asked God for the answer. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints had suggested prayer as the proper course of action. They said, “Test God in all things!” Then they pointed to the Bible and James 1: Verse 5.

This website is the understanding I gained immediately following that prayer. The next morning, after this prayer, I had an absolute confidence that I now knew the answer. Even though I had gained this inner certainty that an awareness of how the universe works had been instilled in me, the vision of a 2 component atom did not arrive fully formed. It grew from a step-by-step unfolding of a vision that became increasingly clearer over the years. I learned the questions to ask, and, the more questions I asked of the universe the more readily the answers would come to me.  This process of asking the questions and listening for the answers has continued for more than 20 yesrs.

I hope you will join me on this quest. If you wonder whether you should I refer you to the scripture that has lead me here: “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”

    Hi Uncle Mike,

How’s it going? I like your verse! We are studying some Matthew at the church, I go to now. It’s very small a “home church” but I like it. I don’t understand physics well, but it’s awesome.
